At the K-5 level, students are the center of the Whole School, Whole Community, and Whole Child (WSCC) model. Students are both the recipients of programs and services to ensure that they are healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. However, they also should serve as partners in the implementation and dissemination of this model. This webinar will discuss the theoretical underpinning of using students as partners in delivering health promotion programs as well as provide examples by two organizations who have embraced students as allies, decision makers, planners, and partners in health promotion.
